1916 (Wednesday)

  • Dernancourt: Relieves the 17th Highland Light Infantry in the E1 sector.
  • A draft of two officers (2nd Lieuts. Davidson and Monkhouse) and 20 other ranks join the Battalion.

1917 (Thursday)

  • Foreste: Resting during the day, then digging during the night.
  • One company digs out posts at Vaux and another at Étreillers.

1918 (Friday)

  • Battalion Headquarters moves to the centre of Adinfer Wood.
  • Trenches are improved.
