1917 (Wednesday)

Battalion parades in fighting order and marches east, leaving Nesle at 12 noon passing through Voyennes to Toulle, arriving 3.30pm. They halt here for three hours.
March continues at 6.45pm to area north of Germaine.
Trenches are dug on a 700 yard frontage, facing eastwards.
Deaths: Thomas Gilbert Davies (27726 Pte.) / Ernest Harold Gough (27750 Pte.)

1918 (Thursday)

Battalion moves from the sunken road at Ransart at 8.30am to occupy old trenches in the vicinity of Adinfer Wood.
Two companies in rear and two on the right flank. Rear companies move to the front of the wood later in the day.
Shelters are dug in the sides of old trenches.
Battalion Headquarters is located at the rear.
