- Battalion leaves Hill Top farm at 7.40pm for Wurst Farm; complete in camp at 10.30pm. Hostile artillery quiet.
- Deaths: James Marr (28688) and James Betham Taylor (15281) both die of wounds.

Various sources contemporary to the war have been used to compile The Lonsdale Battalion On This Day.
