• Ex-Sergeant E.J. Caine is found drunk, creating a disturbance in camp. He is reverted to the ranks.

1915 (Sunday)

• Battalion marches from Picquigny to Villers-Bocage. Billets in a sharp frost.

1916 (Tuesday)

• Battalion situated at Berteaucourt involved in company parades for instruction.

1917 (Wednesday)

• Battalion situated at Hill Top Farm preparing battle equipment and stores.
• Joseph Bell Hampson (30127 L/Cpl.) dies of wounds, 25 years of age.
