1914

  • Telegram: Lord Lonsdale approves of water pipe get it done at once. [1]

1915

  • Battalion situated at Molliens-au-Bois, engaged in lectures, inspections and physical exercises. Weather very wet.[2]

1916

  • Battalion situated at Berteaucourt involved in Brigade courses in Sniping and Lewis Guns. One Company employed in constructing Bayonet Fighting Course. Remainder under Company arrangements. [3]

1917

  • Battalion situated at 'Brake Camp' involved in reorganisation. Companies at the disposal of Company Commanders.[4]
