1914

• Telegram: “Lord Lonsdale approves of water pipe get it done at once.”

1915

• Battalion situated at Molliens-au-Bois, engaged in lectures, inspections and physical exercises. Weather very wet.

1916

• Battalion situated at Berteaucourt involved in Brigade courses in Sniping and Lewis Guns. One Company employed in constructing Bayonet Fighting Course. Remainder under Company arrangements.

1917

• Battalion situated at 'Brake Camp' involved in reorganisation. Companies at the disposal of Company Commanders.
