1915 (Sunday)

  • Left half Battalion (C Company and D Company) proceed to Millencourt under Major Diggle.
  • Right half Battalion (A Company and B Company), with Headquarters and Transport, proceed to Bouzincourt.
  • Officers and NCO’s right half Battalion, having been conveyed by motor bus from Molliens au Bois, are attached for instruction in the trenches for garrison duty.[3]

1916 (Tuesday)

  • Berteaucourt: Battlion involved in bombing instruction under the Bombing Officer.
  • Route march from Halloy to Canaples.
  • During afternoon, all officers attend Tactical Scheme without troops under the Commanding Officer.
  • Deaths: Joseph Matthew Earl (27350 Pte.)

1917 (Wednesday)

  • Battalion situated at Dambre Camp involved in training.
