1916 (Wednesday)

• Puchevillers: Parades for Battalion drill under the Commanding Officer. Afternoon spent in Company training.
• Some men on a sniping and Lewis gun course.

1917 (Thursday)

• Battalion moves from Wurst Farm into the front line to relieve the 17th Highland Light Infantry; relief is quiet and completes at midnight.
• Casualties: Four other ranks.
