1914 (Friday)

• Newspaper article Lonsdale Battalion - New Local Recruits is published in the Workington Star and Harrington Guardian.

1915 (Saturday)

• Bouzincourt: Battalion has Church Parade.
• A Company proceeds to billets in Aveluy where they are involved in fatigue duties for the 97th Brigade Headquarters.

1916 (Monday)

• Puchevillers: Holy Communion at 9am and 12pm. Games for the remainder of the day.

1917 (Tuesday)

• Battalion situated at Siege Camp.
• Morning: Companies are at the disposal of company commanders.
• Afternoon: Battalion attends a burial service of Capt. J. Cook Gray, M.C., who was killed in action on 22 December.

1918 (Wednesday)

• Deaths: Henry Entecott (22515 Pte.)
