- Battalion situated at Berteaucourt involved in company parades for inspections.
1917 (Tuesday)
- Situation quiet. Battalion is relieved in the left sub-sector by 16th Lancashire Fusiliers; relief is complete by 8pm.
- Battalion moves to Hill Top Farm; in huts by midnight.
- Thomas Birkett Stockdale (25066) is killed in action, John Noble (35045) dies of wounds and two other ranks are missing.
