1914

  • R. Stanley is appointed R.Q.M.S.[1] He remains in the role until his appointment to a commission of Captain on 22nd February, 1915.[2]

1916

  • Battalion situated at Bouzincourt. General parade of instruction and working parties[3] for the Royal Engineers.[4]

1917

  • Battalion situated in the Roubrouck Area. Commanding Officer's lectures during morning.[5]
  • Stretcher bearers under medical officers from 10am to 12pm and from 2-4pm.[5]
  • Battalion carries out practice during afternoon.[5]
