Battalion makes a night attack on German positions South of Westroosebeek in conjunction with remaining units of 97th Brigade and 2 units of the 96th Brigade.^[4]
Zero hour 1.55am. The Lonsdales takes its objectives but two leapfrogging Companies fall back before dawn onto subsidiary objectives, which are held all day until the enemy launches a counter attack at 4.30pm. The Lonsdale then fall back onto the old line.^[4]
