- Telegram: “Lord Lonsdale approves of water pipe get it done at once.” [1]
1915
- Battalion situated at Molliens-au-Bois, engaged in lectures, inspections and physical exercises. Weather very wet.[2]
1916
- Battalion situated at Berteaucourt involved in Brigade courses in Sniping and Lewis Guns. One Company employed in constructing Bayonet Fighting Course. Remainder under Company arrangements. [3]
