1916

  • Battalion situated in the support line of the Cambrin Sector – supplying working parties[1] for the Royal Engineers.[2]
  • Commanding Officer, Col. Girdwood, proceeds to England on leave; Major Moore of 17th H.L.I. takes over command of the Lonsdales.[2]
  • Reinforcements of 12 other ranks arrive.[2]

1917

  • Battalion situated at Teteghem involved in Company training. Recreation in the afternoon.[3]
